3GL has been working with Conrad Humphreys Racing to develop the BLUE Climate and Oceans Project. With a mixture of brand design, serious science, educational concepts and web development BLUE has evolved into a major vehicle for concern about our environment. With the support of the National Marine Aquarium 3GL assisted with the launch of BLUE, the secured the first BLUE sponsor and assisted the CHR team with the promotion of BLUE via magazines and press releases.
Following the launch, the National Marine Aquarium and Conrad Humphreys Racing plan to turn the Discovery Theatre, in the NMA, into a major audio and visual experience that will enable schools, the public and the media to interact with Conrad's adventures. The Discovery Theatre or mission control, will become the home to future BLUE Climate and Oceans Projects.
Conrad Humphreys has announced his first BLUE project in the form of his Extreme 40 seen here sporting the new Corum branding. The 40 will be competing in the iShares Cup and other exhibition races including the JP Morgan Round the Island Race and Skandia Cowes week. The boat will also be paving the way to other BLUE projects yet to be announced.

Conrad is also competing in the Calais Round Britain Race with the legendary Swiss Sailor Bernard Stamm and has just announced that he will be competing in the Barcelona World Race with Bernard starting in November.

We look forward to the announcement of other BLUE Ambassadors, more BLUE Projects and the launch of the BLUE website which will act as the portal for all things BLUE. We are seeking a number of Environmental Partners to wok with us on the BLUE Project and help fund its future development. If you are a leader in the corporate world or you know a company or an organisation that you think would like to be a partner please contact us at 3GL.
